A better blue for dark-mode information
The information background now follows the current Comply blue, closing a small but persistent colour mismatch.
One value, a visible difference
Version 1.16.0 updates the dark status-info background from a wash of the old blue to a 15% wash of the current blue-500. This brings the information surface back into step with the palette that shipped in v1.13.0. Information text keeps its existing light blue.
Why this matters
A status tint is part of the colour system, not a separately chosen decoration. When a base colour changes, its related surfaces need to remain connected. Otherwise, an alert and a nearby product control can feel like they belong to different systems.
What to review
Check information alerts, badges, and other components that use status-info-bg in dark mode. The release changes the background value, not the role of an information message. The original release notes also explain why this value change is a minor release.
